A full breakfast, plus afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres are included. Dinner is also available at the four-diamond restaurant on the premises.

The inn has 10 rooms themed after Hans Christian Andersen stories with antiques, fireplaces, featherbeds, down duvets, and WiFi access. Included are full-cooked breakfast (often with Danish ableskivers), wine with appetizers in the afternoon, and tea and treats in the evening. Their adjacent restaurant is available for dinner.

Solvang Gardens Lodge, 293 Alisal Road, Solvang, phone 688-4404, email them here. The lodge is in downtown Solvang with 24 rooms surrounding a garden area with a lily pool, free WiFi throughout. They will securely store your bike at night. Great location for Sideways and other Santa Ynez valley bike rides.

The inn has 18 rooms located in two Victorian houses, three cottages and a coach house surrounded by flower gardens and spa. Rooms have English antiques and an Alice in Wonderland atmosphere. A few blocks to State Street restaurants and activities, and cycling in all directions.

They’re located two blocks from the beach and a short ride or walk to State Street activities. They have 31 rooms including free WiFi, DVD players, use of computers, breakfast.

Old Yacht Club Inn, 431 Corona Del Mar Drive, phone 962-1277, emailoldyachtclubinn@gmail.com. They have 14 rooms in a romantic building a block from East Beach. Included are a gourmet breakfast and afternoon wine social, free use of cruiser bicycles and beach chairs. Bike to the Stearns Wharf, the bird refuge, the zoo, and downtown shops.
